For now, I want give a quick summary of some of the new features on TL. Details after the jump--
Search
We've bolstered our search algorithms, using keyword rank and uniqueness vs. keyword popularity to deliver you better, more relevant results whenever you search. We've also added heaps of advanced search tools including:
- Search by photographer
- Search by size
- Search by orientation (landscape, portrait, square)
- Search by faces & facial orientation
- Search by model or property released images only
Preview
The Preview page has been completely redesigned, reorganized, and optimized to cater to image buyers and facilitate your buying process. We've also added a cart system so that you can select as many images as you want before checking out. Once you do decide to check out, you can purchase images with credits, PayPal Express Checkout, or directly via your credit card.
Pricing
Images are now priced from 1 to 25 credits or, if you decide to pay directly with credit card, $1 to $25 US dollars. Purchasing credit packages can decrease the price you pay from at least 17% to up to 50% per image.
Photographers need not worry about high volume image buyers reducing their revenue. We've tied photographer compensation to a static ratio of 1 credit = $0.80. Learn more about compensation details here.
Uploading
Two brand new, easy-to-use uploaders with new interfaces.
- Simple Uploader - upload as images in smaller batches without the hassle of inputing image details before clicking upload.
- Bulk Uploader - upload as many images as you want via FTP. Users with 10 or more approved images automatically gain access to the Bulk Uploader features.
Both support embedded IPTC metadata.
StudioMe
Revamped StudioMe pages and navigation. Completely redesigned from the ground up. Write posts, manage your portfolio and lightshows, and view the users you follow with ease. Use your profile page to boost your online presence and draw interested users to your other websites and networks. Last, but definitely not least, every user now has a dedicated subdomain (http://username.tastylemon.com) which you can post around the web.
Account section
Simple, informative interfaces so you can quickly navigate your account, make changes, track your earnings and/or payments, and get on to the important things in life (like the next shoot!). We've completely redesigned and reworked the Account section (this is becoming a common theme...) so that it's logical, straightforward and provides you the information you need when you need it.
Blend&Blog
We're back with a way simpler blogging system. No more preview section, just use the 
button to signify when you want your blog preview to end. On the Blend&Blog feeds, users will see all the text and images you place above the button and a nice little Read More link.

The Blended feed is all featured blogs or blogs which have received 5 or more Likes and whose authors have decided to blend. Then we added a Public feed to display all blogs posted publicly by Tastylemon members, and finally, just for fun, we threw in a search function that combs through all blog posts on Tastylemon.
Comments also got the deluxe treatment. You can use all sorts of formatting and hyperlinkage in your responses : )
FAQ
Revamped and expanded FAQ section with up-to-date privacy and legal documentation and a slew of articles and tutorials which will be updated often and added to regularly.
Footer
Quick links that allow you to access the latest blogs, areas of the site and/or FAQ articles which are most relevant to you. We also added quick links to our Tastylemon Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as an email link to zenpatrol@tastylemon.com which is present on the footer of every page of our site in case you encounter any bugs or have any questions.
